How long does a shower replacement take?
Usually 1-2 hours. We remove the old shower, fit the new one, test it, and clean up. You can use it immediately.

Can I get a more powerful shower?
Yes! If you have a 6mm cable, you can go up to 8.5kW. For anything higher (9.5kW+), we'll need to upgrade your cable — add £350-£450.

Do I need to do anything to prepare?
Just make sure we can access the shower area and fuse box. We handle everything else.

What if my shower breaks outside business hours?

How long do electric showers last?
Typically 4-5 years, sometimes longer. Hard water areas may see shorter lifespan due to limescale. Electrical Safety First recommends regular checks on bathroom electrics.
Electrics Shower Not Working?
Try these checks first
No Power At All?
Check your fuse box. The shower circuit may have tripped. Also check the pull cord or isolation switch is ON.
Power But No Heat?
The heating element has likely failed. This is the most common fault and it usually means it's time for a new shower.
Weak Water Flow?
Could be limescale in the showerhead (clean with vinegar) or low water pressure. If it's always been weak, consider a higher kW shower.
Leaking?
Turn off the isolator switch immediately. Water and electricity are dangerous, never touch a leaking shower. Call us for urgent repair.
